Do you want to live and work in the African bush…

Let us take you on a journey, gaining skills and knowledge along with memories that will stay with you for a lifetime.

At AFRICAN BUSH TRAINING, our mission is to train enthusiastic and ethical field guides in a wide variety of settings including the Kruger National Park and the majestic Northern Drakensberg Mountains of the Limpopo Province. With the guidance and care of our experienced instructors - we aim to help develop you into a confident and knowledgeable ambassador for wildlife.

At the ABT Safari Guide Faculty we have a very strong conservation ethic and this subject is taught thoroughly with the 55-Day Professional Field Guide Course and more specifically in our 1-Year Safari Ranger Program where we include not only nature guiding as primary subject, but also conservation- and hospitality- management…

To ensure students with an educational experience at the highest level of quality and distinction - we are working with award winning environmentalist and lecturers, along with significant institutions in conservation such as the ISCI (International Students Conservation Initiative, WESSA (Wildlife and Environmental Society of Southern Africa) and the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) - all contributing to a shared vision and a united commitment in conservation.
